Kaolin (19.30 g), Pectin (0.43 g) 100 ml suspension
What is kaolin, pectin and what is its use:
- Kaolin is a native hydrated aluminum silicate and pectin is a pure carbohydrate product from the peel of citrus fruits.
- Kaolin works by absorbing gases, toxins, and bacteria from the digestive tract and by increasing stool bulk.
- Therefore, it is used to treat symptoms of gastrointestinal diseases associated with diarrhea.
- Pectin not only provides additional absorbent power to kaolin, but also has a coating effect on the intestines.
